JEM Services for Publishers Acquires Digital Capabilities

JEM Services for Publishers, a division of JEM Education Marketing Services, will be showcasing their newly acquired short-run digital printing and book production capabilities at this years London Book Fair, on stand number U87.

The single most significant initiative undertaken within JEM in 2004 has been the acquisition of JEM Digital Print Services Limited (previously known as JR Digital Print Services Limited). This initiative provides clients, particularly those involved in the publishing industry with the convenience associated with single sourcing. Publisher clients will be able to enjoy the benefits of short-run digital printing and short-run digital book printing as well as specialist book production.

The availability of this additional service means that publishers wishing to market their new titles to libraries, library suppliers, booksellers and schools through the established JEM BookFile and Schoolbag Shared Mailing Programmes can now look to JEM to assist with their printing needs too.

The JEM team are excited about the introduction of the expanded range of services at the 2005 London Book Fair and look forward to an enthusiastic reaction by visitors looking for the convenience of single sourcing services including print, book production, mailing, storage and fulfilment, whilst enjoying value, reliability and specialism.

• Masterfile Database:- Comprising of 4000 libraries/ library suppliers, 4000 booksellers and 30,000 schools, colleges and universities.
• Shared Mailings:- BookFile’s shared mailing to libraries and library suppliers (6 times a year) and to booksellers (3 times a year). Also available is Schoolbag’s shared mailing to schools and sixth form colleges, mailing weekly to secondary schools (over 5000) and fortnightly to primary schools (approximately 25,000) during term time.
• Tailored Solus Mailings:- Allowing clients to target their communication more precisely using JEM owned data, clients own or outsourced.
• Print Services:- From short-run digital print and specialist perfect and case bound book production and laser personalisation, to full colour litho.
